Gorman’s work highlights the beauty of structural form and precise geometric composition. His recent explorations focus on imagined, constructed environments that emphasize form, depth, and spatial relationships. Through the use of geometric elements—overlapping planes, tunnels, and reflective surfaces—he creates immersive, almost meditative experiences where the line between the physical and the abstract dissolves. With a refined color palette and masterful control of light, Gorman’s latest works present a world that is both meticulously structured and dreamlike.

Nick is a Canadian artist whose practice consists of large portraits and built with wood. “His style and materials come together to create a balance between raw and refined, rough and intricate. The exposed wood intertwines with the paint strokes in a subtle dance, where we lose sight of where paint ends and wood begins. His medium connects to his small-town origins and time spent building things around the family house, as well as manual labor on farms. Raw handcrafted materials have the power to connect and ground us in a sense of reality, relatability, and the human experience.”
