About Us

The district provided full scholarships to the above K-12 art teachers for their masters program from The Florence Academy of Art. This August, the teachers successfully completed their degree. To celebrate their accomplishments, the district has planned this show with IMUR Gallery. It is absolutely our pleasure to be able to present their beautiful works. 

IMUR Gallery is established based on the ideas of cultural exchange and understanding, both of which are incredibly important factors in communities as diverse as those in the Jersey City. In order for members of the community often see themselves reflected in local art, IMUR provides residency opportunities to the local artists, encourages young talents, and welcomes ideas for collaboration. 

Artist Kelly Nicole pairs up with different musicians every week. She uses her fingers to paint her emotions.
